Heritage Crossing is delighted to welcome Alexander’s Heritage Market in Gonzales. Lathan, Ryan and Reid Alexander, along with Miles Holley, Sr, will own and operate the new location.

Heritage Crossing is Gonzales’ newest mixed-use development encompassing a range of restaurants, shops, banks and offices, modern residences and 22 acres of recreational water features with over a mile of walking trails for the community fun. The City of Gonzales’ new Center for Performing Arts, Conferences and Events (PACE) Prix Leblanc will be at the heart of the development, hosting numerous events and serving as a gathering space and lifestyle hub for the community.

Collectively, the team of owners have over 125 years of experience serving and satisfying customers. This marks the Alexander family’s centenary in the grocery business, a period that has seen five generations of Alexander service the Baton Rouge and Gonzales area.

Officials in the town of Gonzales were delighted to hear about the deal.

Development has progressed rapidly since the inauguration in April. In addition to the city’s PACE Center and Alexander’s Heritage Market, the developers have started construction on the first two commercial buildings and will be making additional announcements in the coming weeks.
